A 3D platformer set in cartoon Hell. Sell Spooky Poo's soul to The Devil in exchange for black magick powers & one wicked wish.
Story time! Happy Hell is an old, forgotten Kickstarter game from over a decade ago. It was going to be a whimsical 3d platformer starring a cartoon cat descending through "Happy Hell" to have his wish granted, trading bits of his soul for new powers along the way. You'll likely notice many similarities to Cuphead, but Happy Hell might actually predate it (I'm not 100% sure though, don't quote me on that).
While the game was (barely) able to hit its funding goal, it has sadly been stuck in development hell since then, and likely won't be releasing anytime soon, if at all. Not all hope is lost, though, as the developer still seems to be slowly working on it and even released a new demo last year. Below is a link to the developer's Youtube channel, as well as two playable demos: the old 2015 build, and the more recent "Moony Mess."
