This morning when I was getting isaiah ready for school, he told me he was a failure. It's broke my heart. I can't get it out of my head. I told him, he wasn't a failure. That he is a smart boy and he will understand everything he is learning soon. His teacher conference was yesterday. The teacher told me he was below in everything and he is having trouble in math. I told her what happened in kindergarten and she said because of that he is missed a huge chunk of what he should of learned in kindergarten. She told me to work on his reading and in a month we will see if he has improved and if not we will go from there. He is in reading intervention and he'll start speech soon. He took speech last year and when he started he was improving in alot of thing. She did say he has a good memory so he should learn quickly and alot of him not understanding might because of his speech and not being ale to hear. I am confident he will get everything soon. Last night, when we did his math hwk he only spent 3omins on it. He was doing it the way roman showed him and he got it. Last week, we spent 2 hours on one math page so, it's a big improvement. He will get it. I'm just so upset his kindergarten year got so messed up that it is hurting him this year. All in all, we will work extra hard this year and before, we know it he will catch on and it will be a thing in the past.
