I've spent the last four hours in a buddie fugue state. I KNOW we're all talking about that fight in the diner AND in the car but frankly I don't think we're talking about it enough. They were both soooo sassy, buck was being such a dramatic bitch, I've re watched the first eight minutes of the episode like twelve times atp.
I really truly think this could be it, I mean this episode paired with the post episode tim minear interviews??????????? Hello?????????? I'm overwhelmed with buddie content and I'm so excited to see how they're going to build up to it (because trust, Tim is going to drag this shit out and I'm perfectly fine with that).
What I wanted from this episode aside from a great kidnapping storyline (which is what we got) was narrative confirmation one way or another about where Buddie is going after last week and that's what I feel like we got. The buddie moments feel like they're intentionally building up to something more. And sure we didn't get a love confession, but also I wasn't really expecting that. I was so scared 9x13 was going to be disappointing but actually I fear I have never flown higher or been so confident in anything in my life. It was an INCREDIBLE episode and I am going to spend the next week riding off this feeling.
