I’m outta romantic ships so have some friendship stuff

{ Akane and Kokichi has consistently been one of my favorite character -to -character interactions, so much so that I can’t point out one in particular in this case. They just have ??? really good chemistry?? Akane’s used to treating the entirety of HPA’s students as an extended family, so her playing pranks with the guy has always been so much fun. She often also gives some much needed affection in his life because of who she is.

I will note though, I’m surprised I haven’t yet suggested a plot where Kokichi actually catches on to or calls out how much she lies…

Not malicious ones by any means, but she tends to pretend she’s far stupider and more carefree than she is to either avoid topics or brighten the mood. Just an idea. }
