Who swept clean the weirdo world of Hieronymus Bosch? - It was Hell'O Monsters, the Belgian collective formed by Jérôme Meynen, François Dieltiens and Antoine Detaille. 770 people announced on Facebook they would come to the vernissage of “Dead, Dumb and Blind” yesterday, seemed that they really did. It was absolutely packed.
With your nose just two centimetres away from the paintings, staring on the amazingly fine lines of Indian ink on fields of well chosen acrylic colours. How do six hands manage to keep a one square meter sheet of paper so clean while painting and drawing so accurate – wow! And how long does it take?
These are questions still to ask the artists, in the meanwhile they answered some others in their interview with Base.
