We may not have our family, we may not have a dining table (lol at eating on the floor), and we be too lazy to cook, but damnit we know how to support local! Our entire dinner came from @unconventionaldiner! Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed tates, cornbread, even a soup appetizer and pumpkin pie with whipped marscarpone for dessert! Everything was DELICIOUS. And we didn’t have to do any cooking! Washed it all down with @hellbenderbeer Code Talkers American Pale Ale. A beer spearheaded by brewer, LT Goodluck to honor his grandfather, John Goodluck, a Navajo Code Talker. It’s delicious and paired perfect with everything. Thanksgiving is a time for family, gratitude, and food, but also a Day of Mourning for many Native Americans. Felt like an appropriate beer to honor the origins of the holiday.
