Alastor: shocked, static buzzing, trying not to admit curiosity. Char: smug, unstoppable, already ten steps ahead.

They’re calm on the surface. But underneath? Hell is quietly watching. And so is everyone else.

Char locked herself in the bathroom. Her reflection betrayed her. Bright red, mouth twitching, eyes wide. She muttered: Think of Alastor.

And then she shrieked.

Everyone outside: concerned. Char: feral. Alastor (somewhere): static humming, wondering why he’s already afraid of her.

She’s chaos. And he knows it.

Char leans in. Lips brushing his ear. Whispered: “Your turn.”

Alastor freezes. Static crackles. He shouldn’t want it. But he does.

And she knows.

”She cried on purpose”

She dropped to her knees. Tears. Shaking voice. “Maybe I’m too far gone.”

Charlie shattered. Instantly.

Alastor watched.

And realized —

She was hitting every note perfectly.

That wasn’t a breakdown. That was a performance.

And he has never been more impressed.
