Jess aka Ex-Shipper Queen, FINALLY admitted I and “antis” were right about Sam and Cait not being a couple. 👇
First of all, I think it’s hysterical that Jess can’t bring herself to write out my full name, but treats it like a bad word hahahaha. I don’t know why that makes me cackle. I’ve been waiting for this moment for FIVE YEARS, so I’m gonna milk it for all its worth. Hope you indulge me for a bit.

Okay, so now back to Jess FINALLY admitting she was wrong about Sam and Cait being together, and I and “antis” were right. But first, just to reiterate, NO ONE on this side, is “anti” shipping, as long as it’s just wishful shipping, and no one is “anti” love. That’s ridiculous ffs. All we were ever anti was anti spreading lies that Sam and Cait were together, anti bullying of anyone who got in the way of the ship--something Extreme Shippers most certainly DID DO for 5 years, even though, they refuse to admit it. There are no “antis” on this side, just Non-Shippers...and we were Non-Shippers, not because we didn’t believe in love, but simply because, when we were told and shown the undeniable PROOF that Sam and Cait were not together, we accepted the TRUTH. We became Non-Shippers because THERE WAS NO SHIP. We faced REALITY. Shocking concept, I know.
But back to Jess...so let it be known that on this day, the 25th of August, in the year of our Lord, 2019, the Ex-Queen of the SamCait Shippers did declare that I, PURV, was RIGHT all along. So it is written, so it shall be.
And notice Jess takes NO responsibility for keeping the ship sailing. None at all. She says “it’s not my fault, or any shippers fault that Purv and antis turned out to be right.” Actually, stop for a second. Let me BASK in that sentence for a few more seconds, “Purv turned out to be right.” Aaaaahhhhh, has such a nice ring to it.
Okay, so Jess, I’m glad she’s finally ADMITTING that the SamCait ship is entrenched deep in the ocean floor AND that I, and everyone who wasn’t a shipper were right all along. BUT, the fact that she doesn’t own her piece in this mess is disappointing. Jess, most certainly KNEW WAY BEFORE today, and way before Cait and Tony got married, that Sam and Cait were not a couple. Yet, she continued to lead her loyal followers on. She can claim all she was doing was giving her “opinion,” and “speculating,” but she knew full well that her opinions and her speculation were given WEIGHT by unsuspecting, needy, emotionally fragile shippers. The more responsible thing would have been to say “I know Sam and Cait aren’t a couple in real life, but guys, I’m going to keep wishful shipping because I still think Sam and Cait are adorable together. So, let’s still ooh and aww over how cute they are together, but yeah, it’s a bummer they’re not really together.” If she had done that, she and her shipper friends could have still had fun shipping. But she didn’t do that because she knew how invested some shippers were in PROVING THE SHIP WAS REAL, and she fed right into that. It’s actually a really cruel thing to have done. More proof that the true “mean girls” of the fandom are Extreme Shippers.
For those who don’t know, in the Spring of 2015, Jess and other shipper “leaders” sent one of their own (Jess’s best friend at the time) to Tony’s bar to find out if Cait was really dating him. This ex shipper, I’ll refer to her as “K,” was visiting London and dutifully went to Tony’s bar to try to prove that my source info about Cait dating Tony was wrong. K went to Tony’s bar, talked to some people who worked there, and much to her surprise, she found out that Cait was indeed “Tony’s girlfriend.” In shock, she went back to the shipper leader fold and reported on her findings. Long story short. Jess and the other shippers treated K like crap, bullied her, and ultimately banished her from shipperville simply for doing what they asked of her, and for her ultimate sin, finding out the TRUTH and posting it PUBLICLY.
Sooooo, WAY BACK in 2015, when Jess was told by her BEST FRIEND that it was true that Tony was dating Cait, THAT is when SHE should have put an end to the ship, and become a wishful shipper. But she didn’t. She threw K overboard, reset the ship’s course, and KEPT RIGHT ON SAILING...and right on LYING to her followers. Jess and other shipper leaders have, without a shadow of a doubt, known for FOUR YEARS that there is no real SamCait ship. Read that again. FOUR YEARS. The fact that she, and other ES, take no responsibility for it shows that they haven’t learned from their mistakes, and those are signs of immaturity and untrustworthiness. Conversely, I have been accused of a lot of things in this fandom, some true, some not. But the difference between Jess and me, is that I HAVE ADMITTED MY MISTAKES, and have APOLOGIZED. Jess and her friends haven’t, and it looks like they never will.
Let’s raise our glasses and proclaim a joyful “cheers” to hell freezing over, pigs flying and all that seemingly impossible stuff. Slainte, my friends, the TRUTH wins out. Finally.
