When the seventh company of the Cadian 7/17th was wiped out in the bloody Battle of Artillery Ridge, their reformation came with great resignation - for even their company banner had fallen in that awful conflict, and now their colours were stained with the blood of their fallen. The new company thus formed with a feeling of grim liberation - their new commander, a relatively unblooded First Lieutenant named Alcor, eschewed the battle honours of his predecessors, and set out to create a new legacy under his own auspices. Unwilling to seriously consider promoting the young officer, they gave him the brevet rank of Captain - and set him on a blazing crusade into the deadliest warzones of the Forty Second Millennium. Whether his company would find triumph, or share the grim fate of their precessors, only time would tell. #paintingwarhammer #warhammercrusade #paintingminiatures #warhammer #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #warhammer40000 #warhammer40kpainting #cadians #cadianshocktroops #hellhoundflametank #hellhoundtank #cadiastands #creedlives #hobbystreak #hobbystreakday81 (at Wakefield) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZditABN5Y9/?utm_medium=tumblr
