The purple-haired Saiyan stared at the impossibly huge dog before her. At least, Chikori thought it was a dog. There were none on her home planet, but in her time spent on Earth, she had come to recognize the overall features of the species. Of which, there was a lot of variation. 

But she was pretty sure this was a dog. Chikori wasn’t aware that they could grow this big. Maybe he wasn’t from this planet.....???

Polly took half a step back as Lee turned around, ready for a fight. But, she noticed his tail wagging. Usually, if hell hounds wanted to fight, they would have attacked as soon as they saw prey...

And yet...

Polly let go of the handle of her Great Sword and smiled.

“Well hello there~” she said excitedly. It wasn’t often that one met such a friendly creature.

       “Whoa, there.”

        Surprisingly enough, this wasn’t the first time Lup had encountered a beast most would consider to be much larger than it should be. But it was still surprising to have nearly run into the giant hound, let alone when she noticed how this one’s coat was wreathed in flame. ( Which was admittedly pretty cool, in her opinion, but first things first --- she needed to know if this was a threat of some sort. )

        The elf stood her ground with hands raised, reasonably wary but not afraid; the creature didn’t seem like it was aggressive right now, and she liked to believe she could read animals relatively well after that first world she had been on, populated with nothing but animal denizens.

       “Um. Good doggy...?”

"Wrooawroooo!" Well, that's as close to 'trick or treat' as this literal wolf-in-sheep's-clothing can get. Between the horns and pillow stuffing, Lee really does look like a big fiery ram... Just with sharper teeth... Lots of sharp teeth. And big fiery paws instead of hooves. And one pillow case hanging off a horn.

Fib tossed the treats to the oversized creature and ran for covered; hoping the beast would ran at the other direction and leave him alone. He is still scared of dogs.

Hotter than the surface of the sun

But now that it was closing time she had to close up the shop and go back home. And goodness: even when the sun had set, the air still felt hot and sticky and just-- uncomfortable.] "Huh?" [She turned around suddenly feeling someone's-- or something's eyes on her.]

It was a busier night than normal, the lich was busy digging up roots from the earth and putting them in a bag. She was gathering large amounts of alchemic components that she needed to make an elixir that would help sustain her decayed body. Lucy had lost her arm last week and needed to restock on herbs and such. That and poisons and potions needed to be made, her job in the cult was to simply gather reagents for the alchemists.

Looking up at the two moons, the lich sighed, even though she didn’t really have any lungs left. She was tired of being the gatherer of the group.. She wanted to take part in the rituals and the summonings that had given her life in the first place.

Pink glowing eyes locked on the starry sky, she didn’t pay mind to anything around her.
