Sexuality Headcanon: Definitely bi. It doesn’t really occur to him for a long time that he could like boys in the same way he likes girls. When it finally hits him he feels extra sad because that’s DOUBLE the people he can’t get a date with, AW MAN :C

Gender Headcanon: Cis, though maybe later in life when he’s relaxed a bit he tried out a little gender fluidity with some help from Josuke. Realizes skirts are pretty damn comfortable. Makeup less so, but he kinda likes it when Josuke puts it on him (for uhhhhh no real reason in particular)…

A ship I have with said character: Bro you know it’s ALWAYS josuyasu!!! The arc of their relationship in canon is so wonderful, it feels as simple as breathing to imagine them deciding to spend the rest of their lives together. They’d be married with bunk beds okay!!!???

A BROTP I have with said character: Okuyasu and Polnareff! What a shame these two never met. 2 dumbasses who have the most tragic heart wrenching backstories you’ve ever seen. Polnareff would hear that Okuyasu lost his older brother and adopt him on the spot. Polnareff would also see Okuyasu pining and encourage him to tell Josuke his feelings before it’s too late.

A NOTP I have with said character: Okuyasu and Koichi. Nothing against it, but like with Josuke and Koichi, I just see them more as bfs (bestfriends) than bfs (boyfriends).

A random Headcanon: Okuyasu says he’s stupid all the time, but he has a lot of practical knowledge Josuke does NOT. He knows how to pay the water bill, jump a car, fix a leaky sink, etc. Hell, he probably has a Roth-IRA. He mentioned that to Josuke once and Josuke was like “who the hell is Roth”

Oh, and for a bonus HC: Okuyasu could totally out-punk Jotaro. Sure Jotaro was a little shit as a teenager, but he lived in a damn mansion. Somehow Jotaro’s old habit of dining and dashing comes up and Okuyasu’s like “oh yeah me and my bro did that all the time! The food was always really good though, we just never had any money to pay for it :) once a manager guy caught us and was gonna turn us over to the cops but I bit him so hard one’a my teeth chipped so we could get away, see?” And then he opens his mouth to show off the tooth, completely oblivious to the concerned/sheepish look Jotaro is giving him

General opinion over said character: MY PRECIOUS BOY!!! THERE’S A REASON IT’S OKUYASU APPRECIATION HOURS 24/7 ON THIS BLOG! Really though, he’s such a good character. He’s a kid who had every reason to be as cruel and cold as the world was to him—but the moment someone extended a hand out to him in kindness, he made the choice to change. Compare that to Kira, who had a stable and loving family but chose to be a selfish, destructive force. The way he reflects Kira as well as Josuke is brilliant, but EVERYTHING about him is brilliant!! Perfect design, perfect stand, perfect backstory, perfect development, perfect voice, perfect theme, PERFECT CHARACTER,

My NOTP for them 

Not sure I have one for Soundwave? Odd, really. The main thing I really *don't* like for Soundwave is Soundwave being disloyal to Megatron/the Decepticons, but that's not pairing specific.

My BROTP for them

Ravage or Shockwave, depending on context.

My OTP for them 

Megatron. Can't resist that loyalty kink.

My second choice pairing for them 

Galvatron. 2nd loyalty.

My fluffy pairing for them

Shockwave.

My angsty pairing for them 

Optimus. Several ways this can go depending on continuity / context, none of them well.

My favorite poly ship for them 

Soundwave/Megatron/whoever else is dating Megatron at the moment, usually at least Starscream and Shockwave.

My weirdest pairing for them

Possibly Soundwave/cassettes, since I know it's common for people to view the cassettes as his children / pets. Typically I don't, so I 'ship them often.

Despite claiming he doesn't like Earth, Gears very much enjoys human television, especially soap operas. He records his favorite ones on a daily basis now after a sudden Decepticon attack caused him to miss the conclusion to a year long storyline. He records shows for his fellow minibots too, in particular for Cosmos who he records any show about space for him to watch when he returns from missions.

-He wears glasses but they’re only for fashion purposes. Makes him look cool.

-Top Man heelys everywhere he goes

-Him and Star Man are pretty close, he use to do missions in space so they connected on subject on travel and celestial bodies. 

-He’s got a collection of rock samples from space on display in his room, he’s very proud of them not everyone can say they have a shelf of meteorite chunks. 

-He loves all of his brothers equally, even if Snake and Shadow can be a little weird or scary. They’re probably the closest of all the robot lines. 

-Top’s definitely a showoff, just a little bit. He’ll be a little extra if it means he’ll look just a little bit cooler to his bros.
