Lee wasn’t entirely sure which city or state he had ended up, where his travels had taken him this time. But he knew why he was here. To seek out crime, put a stop to it and create a peace that would eventually add up to world peace. 

And he saw a woman being ganged up by.. Vampires? Well that counted a crime to him and he would put a stop to this. He jumped down, kicking one of the hostiles in the face so hard that it knocked them out and sent them flying towards a few others. 

He teleported backwards closer to the woman and turned his attention to her while remaining aware of his surroundings. “Are you alright?”

     Smoke came out in a thick plume when he laughed.  Leaning forward in his seat, Jamie waved it away from his face. “Shit. I figured you were. That, or high as a fucking kite. Would’ve just been sad if you were sober.” It made for a good story, he had to admit.

     His back met the cushioned seat again and he took another long drag on his cigarette. “Never been banned from a franchise, but a bar? Yeah. But that was one was for getting involved in a good, old-fashioned bar fight.” Alcohol had been a factor there, no surprise.

The question made Darla smile in its simplicity as she looked the other vampire over with obvious interest. Once upon a time she may have answered a simple ‘yes’ to his query. But it was the twenty-first century and things were rarely ever so black and white.

“I wouldn’t say so,” she answered, truthfully. “Children of Satan, demons, abominations of nature...” She could go on, listing all of the things that she had been called in her 400 years but she trailed off with a smile. “Isn’t a little blasphemy fun?”
