Wow, today is the first day of my last year in high school.
This summer actually flew. I'd like to say a lot happened, and I accomplished a lot, but I really didn't.
I did, however:
Get a job at a garden which was amazing
Begin to watch Doctor Who (I've gotten through a few seasons now)
Become closer with possibly the coolest people ever (bowtiesouffle.tumblr.com and usethatragebecomethatsongbird.tumblr.com)
Manage to deck out the front of my house in Harry Potter decorations multiple times
Row at the Royal Canadian Henley
Get my driver's license (Although I'm a terrible driver!!!)
Dye my hair no less than four times
Spend countless hours on Tumblr
Sure, some people might say it was a waste of a summer vacation. I might look back on it in a month and regret it. True, I could have gone partying or whatever.
But, sure as I am typing this at 4:30am on my first day of grade twelve, I had an amazing summer that I would gladly repeat a thousand times over.
