Hi random crystal islet angst idea incoming
Stealing from @curi0uscreature for this. Ya know how Rhysmuth’s body is made of all his elements applying pressure on each other? But with an environment like the islet that caters his element his body doesn’t need to do that to keep his form stable. But at the same time since he’s so used to pressure keeping his body together(?) So the sudden absence of pressure just feels…wrong in a way. Like his very being is about to collapse in on itself at any given moment.
But I also feel like he’d be strangely calm because no pressure = no energy buildup that needs to get burned off by his usual hyperactivity.

I'm seeing the vision and I like it very much! Although, I think instead of Rhysmuth feeling like his body is about to collapse in on itself, it's be more like a sudden lightheadedness that lasts for a few minutes when he moves between the Islet and the Workshop, like how sudden atmospheric pressure changes do that to humans.
And yeah, I can absolutely see Rhys being less hyperactive when on the Islet, not needing to burn off all that extra energy. I think he'd still be energetic, but in a more calm way, if that makes sense.
