11. do you listen to music when writing?
I’m like. the biggest extrovert on the planet. like i don’t do anything in silence so i always listen to music while writing. this is my current angsty bernie song and i listen to it all the time while writing an intimacy
12. favorite place to write
i do 85% of my writing in my head while driving. my drive home is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and it’s where i hash out all of my ideas and put thoughts in order. actual writing words on paper happens in the living room or in my room (or on my phone if i have to wait anywhere)

38. do you reread your own stories?
not usually after i post them. i re-read a bunch before then because i leave gaps everywhere when i can’t think through a scene or phrasing. maybe in the future but before berena i haven’t been particularly proud of anything i’ve written.
39. do you want to be published some day?
i have never ever thought of my writing in the category of ‘good enough to be published’. idk i do it for fun, i’ve never thought of doing it for work. i think it would be too much like cooking/baking. people ask me if i want to be a chef or professional baker a fair amount and i always say no because it would make it a Job instead of my de-stress time. i think the same could be said for my writing.
44. do you write linear or do you write future scenes if you feel like it?
i am like. the least linear writer ever. i’m trying to be better for the sake of being able to publish while i write but most of my fics have v specific scenes that i have planned or written and then the other parts are me getting to that scene (if you’ve read ‘don’t care what you keep doing’ the scene in chapter 8 where they hug while watching the sunset was like one of the first things i wrote for that fic. i didn’t know where it would go but i knew it was going to happen)
