thank uuuuu!!!! it’s honestly so weird because like, in the months leading up i made a lot of jokes about dying and talked a lot about my fears about either not coming out of surgery at all, or coming out paralysed and unable to communicate... i was so scared in all honesty of those things happening that they became for me almost the only possible outcomes... i never allowed myself to consider “what if everything goes well?” because that was way too risky and optimistic, so truly it has been quite a headfuck to actually be awake and alive... when i opened my eyes for the first time after surgery and saw my family and realised that i was out the other side, it just felt so impossible and great. anyway, a long-winded answer to a short and kind sentiment but them’s the perils of following my damn blog xxxx

There's a vegan cafe in downtown Huntington Beach, California called The Bodhi Tree. So unbelievably SCRUMPTIOUS. They have vegan boba drinks and Thai milk teas too and oh man it's definitely one of my happier places to be at.
