the concept of evil hallritt being kind of protective. i know this is gonna sound kind of corny and incomprehensible but LISTEN!! something something about when things arent fair or youre being mistreated your anger bubbles up like “hey wtf. not cool” if evil hallritt is a manifestation of hallritts possible anger, resentment, bitterness etc then would it not kind of make sense for him to play the role of a “protector” in a kind of fucked up way?
