Some Iota Galaxy for Hell's Horses completed.
It ain't pretty, but painting just before midnight some straight lines and dots - I think it works.
These two are complete, save for deciding on what to paint the rims of the bases.
Another one - this is a Stormcrow of the Clan Hell's Horses Iota Galaxy. Looks like I actually varnished this one, on account of how glossy it seems in some nooks and crannies, but now the lasers and free-hand decal have been added.
@kasperl-ruprecht Here you have the finished Stormcrow, hope you enjoy, and thank you for the inspiration and making this possible.
The base coat and highlights have been added - as what will be a Stormcrow part of the Hell's Horses Clan, Iota Galaxy. The Ninth Ring of Hell.
Painted in black with no other accents or highlights, "individual MechWarriors tend to paint their machines in outrageous colours."
Let's rock.
Maybe it is time to start this bad boy.

Finally, my latest shipment of Battletech has arrived.
In this list was isn’t shown so well is the FedCom Lance, which I’ll show here:
Which consists of a Caesar, Marauder, Banshee, and Battlemaster Mech’s.
I have plans to make the Tenshi - an otherwise fairly new addition to the Draconis Combine - into a looted Mech by the Rasalhague Dominion. Obviously in my 2nd Freemen camo colours.
All the vehicles will get my generic and so far unnamed green regimental colour, but I also bought some Clanner Battle armor, the Corona. 5 of them. And that will be turned into a Star of Clan Hell’s Horses battle armor. Yes, I am dipping my feet into ClanTech, but that is only because I RESPECT the Hell’s Horses approach, and their “black with roadster flames” paint job is absolutely amazing.
Alright, so, I was fiddling with the idea of, for shits and giggles, making a Star of Clan Hell’s Horses. Partly because I like the idea of having multiple “teams” so I can host games for friends that don’t have their own armies/Lances, and because Hell’s Horses actual understanding of combined arms jive well with me and my tastes. Also, roadster flame paint jobs.
So, I got Corona Battle Armor as a joke so start with.
I can make 5 squads of that, and it turns out that 5 squads make up an entire Star. So, I trimmed it down and realize that I can take 2 VTOL transports and 4 squads, and that’ll fit all of them and they can move around. And, uh, calculating the Battle Value points (also adjusting the vehicle skill levels as Clan Hell’s Horses actually train their vehicle crews), it’s a whopping 4,164 BV.
That’s a full 4 ‘Mech Lance of Inner Sphere designs. And before I realized that, I also made a Star of combat vehicles, which means 10 Clan combat vehicles.
4 Enyo Strike Tanks
4 Epona Pursuit Tanks
And 2 Cizin’s
That’s 13,778 BV.
Slap it together and we got the minimum combat strength amount of Power Armour with tank support for 17,942 BV.
... I need to make a tally of how much Inner Sphere stuff I actually have, because my recently completed (half strength as it turns out) tank company with two infantry platoons is a whopping 4886 BV.
If I multiplied that by 4, that’d reach 19,544 BV.
10 Clan vehicles vs 24 IS vehicles supported by 8 platoons of conventional infantry.
Yeah, that sounds about even, actually.
All this means I have more work to do.
