Day 12 - Saddest Anime Scene
The scene in OVA 6 where Penwood is shown fighting to the last breath to uphold the dignity and honor of the men who so faithfully served with him until their own deaths. Knowing that he also gave Integra so much help over the years in her life and realizing that the two had a more personal relationship because Penwood was friends with her deceased father also made things very harrowing. One of the last people to truly know her father was now dead thanks to the scourge that London has to endure.
This scene also just shows the sheer strength of human perseverance and will, even when faced with monsters and impossible odds.
