“No, I can’t claim to have seen it myself before now. This afternoon it cropped up, you say?” The weedy human nodded his head eagerly. Sebastian’s choice of business partner was, for want of a better word, sub-optimal. But Manuel knew how to carry himself and didn’t mind digging. A lot of digging - which was the most important thing. But for all of the man’s skill in physical labour, Manuel often came up with the strangest of notions.
Michaelis folded his arms. The two of them stood over a large hole, which had only recently appeared at the rear of the graveyard. Not only was it bordering on Vantablack, when he stuck an arm down into the thing, it was remarkably hot. A deep scowl set into the devil’s features.
“It would appear,” He sighed, “That we should expect visitors. I daresay this may be where all your erotic literature keeps disappearing to, my friend... Manuel, would you mind heading inside?” And as Manuel left, satisfied, the demon looked out at the rows of tombstones. He squinted at what appeared to be a figure with a large cowl. He called into the darkness; “I haven’t all night. Could we speak?”
