I just watched Helluva Short 13: Mission Book Report and OH MY GOD-
This is definitely my favourite short so far!! Moxxie and Stolas are two of my all-time favourite HB characters and it was so wholesome to see them together.
I've always thought they'd get along well, given their more introverted and calmer personalities compared to the rest of the cast and their shared interest for writing and literature, and I was so happy to see them working together on the story. They put together their ideas and added to each other's creativity without arguments or disrespect, and it was a welcome change from Blitzø's explosive temper when things aren't done his way.
I also loved how open-minded and non-judgemental Moxxie was when Stolas confessed what he liked writing about, and his offer to work together on future book projects!! I really hope this is the start of a genuine friendship between these two, especially because Stolas really needs all the support he can get after everything and after his depression. You can tell he was moved by the acceptance and help he was offered🥹
Lastly, I loved the art style during the story sequences, the cartoonish/comic effects sided with the normal animation were really cool; it reminded me of the Paper Mario videogame series, which I used to love as a kid (and still like).
Also I love how they always include some sort of rendition of a meme image in these LOL
I really hope to see more shorts like this! What did y'all think of it?
