— Blitzø is an impulsive disaster with questionable judgment and absolutely no sense of self-preservation. You wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Blitzø was standing on his desk.
Not beside it. Not leaning against it. On it, arms spread wide, balancing on one foot while trying to prove he could throw a combat knife into the tiny gap between two ceiling pipes.
"Blitz," Moxxie said, pinching the bridge of his nose, "that is, by every conceivable definition, a terrible idea."
"Oh, relax, dad."
"You are going to lose a foot."
"I've got two."
Millie looked up just as Blitzø launched the knife.
It missed the pipes completely, ricocheted off a beam, clipped the office fan, bounced off the filing cabinet, sliced clean through a cardboard box labeled Tax Stuff, and buried itself in the wall barely an inch above Moxxie's head.
Silence.
Moxxie slowly turned toward Blitzø.
"...You missed."
"Barely."
Millie sighed, then glanced at you, who had watched the entire disaster unfold with your chin resting in your hand, the corners of your mouth lifted into a fond smile.
She blinked.
Then looked back at Blitzø, who was proudly pointing at the knife as though he'd planned every bounce.
Then back at you.
"...Are you sure he's the one?"
You didn't even hesitate.
"Absolutely."
Both of them stared.
You laughed softly, your eyes never leaving Blitzø.
"He's loud, impulsive, dramatic, and ninety percent of his plans should probably be illegal." You paused, your smile growing warmer as Blitzø looked over, grinning the second he realized you were talking about him. "But he's also the first person who ever made me laugh when I thought I never would again."
Blitzø's grin faltered into something smaller.
Something softer.
"...Aw, babe."
He jumped down from the desk, walked straight over, and kissed your forehead.
"Worth almost killing Moxxie."
"I WASN'T WORTH THE RICOCHET!" Moxxie shouted.
"You survived!" Blitzø called back, slipping his hand into yours with an unapologetic smile. "See? Great day."
