"Heyyyy! It's been.. a long time..." Lucifer greeted the familiar face that had only just arrived to the hotel.
To be honest, he wasn't really sure what to think or feel about these angels coming and going from the hotel -- Hell -- in general. He was glad that Charlie was able to do something that he could have only dreamed of doing in the past. But now he wasn't really sure what to think about it. Lucifer had mixed feelings about Heaven, in all honesty.
Ever since he had failed, himself, to convince them that sinners might be able to be redeemed. Or find good qualities within their own dark souls - his views had shifted. There were times where he felt some nostalgia for Heaven and even missed all the faces he once knew. The golden shine of Heaven itself, the peace that it brought. But there were also times where he did not regret giving himself the freedom to choose what he wanted to do. He had freed himself from the rules and expectations that Heaven held over his head. A double edged sword of course. But after everything and their track record up to this point, his feelings on actually facing the angels and seraphim again, personally was complicated.
But at least he would be cordial and welcoming. After all while Hell was his realm, technically, the hotel was Charlie's. This was her project. So of course he was going to do his best to fit in and abide by what she wanted to happen here. He did say he was going to be supportive after all. Even if it made him feel a little awkward. On the upside, Lucifer was a bit more familiar with the angels and so remembering their names and getting them correct was much easier for him than trying to talk to any of the sinners.
"How's everything been up there, since, you know -- the whole using me to blow a hole in everything?" Not that any of that was his fault.
