[ For those of you that sent a message--all I can do is thank you. Out in the open (hence no 'read more'--shocker!) instead of in secret because honestly you deserve the highest of recognition I can provide. So about 900 people can see that you did something. And you all DID do something and pretty much helped in saving a life.
So here's me thanking you. Very blandly, too. It's sort of pathetic but I hope the gratitude comes through.
All of you did something while you could have just left it all to someone else, or waited it out to see if it was really worth the effort, and some of you haven't talked to me outside of this incident so that goes to say how far your reach really is. And some of you I know well enough to have an idea of how you're feeling lately, and to think that in the midst of that chaos I still made it near the top of your list--it's an honor. Can't thank you enough.
I guess I'm sort of iffy on the thank-you's right now because anything I type at the moment sounds tired in my mind, so. I'm sorry if this sucks. I truly am grateful. Just. Also very mentally worn out.
I hope I can make it up to you guys soon. Get a few laughs, make a few smiles, the whole package. But for now this is all I can do.
