Day 18: Your favorite second male and female leads
Eun Shi Kyung (Jo Jung Suk)
King 2 Hearts
All my secondary lead emotions go to this guy. You have to watch King 2 Hearts because as much as possible, I don't like to spoil anybody about his fate, his struggles, his romance (but isn't that obvious anymore?) Anyways, at first I hated his existence because I find his character weird or some sort of I had that feeling that I won't care of him. But as time passed by, as each episode passed by, you'll see him more than a typical royal soldier/bodyguard. He's more than that.
And to think that his character is one of the best written secondary lead out there (and in some parts, even better than the lead character, Lee Jae Ha (played by Lee Seung Gi))
Lee Bo Na (Krystal Jung)
The Heirs
Waa this cutie pie >.< You know if there's one character Heirs should never disregard, it's her. I'm not sure if its her first time acting but having her to act that role is perfect. She fits it well, she gives justice to the character she's portraying. I also love how Kim Eun Sook wrote Lee Bona. A person who despises the lead character but somehow finds a situation where in she helps her instead. Usually, it's because of Chan Young. But you can feel, that slowly, she becomes concern of Eun Sang. Her character is also cute, always getting jealous which just shows how much she loves Chan Young. Her meetings with Kim Tan is funny too.
What I like most about Lee Bo Na is that although she plays the bad person (sort of), I can't ever ever hate her. I'll love her more because between Eun Sang and her, friendship starts to bloom.
I absolutely hated her the instant it was revealed she’s Betrayer X. She was so full of herself, with victory in her mind. She was indeed greedy, had to manipulate others and lie to others, for the sake of money. She is clearly an epitome of money-driven human beings. With all those bad traits I’ve said, I’m sure you’d hate this person too. But it’s too early for that. Jaime’s character arc is the best written arc compared to all the characters in Liar Game. We see her changing, shedding off her negative image and growing her inner goodness. Her change is not a complete 360 though. She had retained her strong, yet cunning, yet betraying persona but Jaime has learned how to use those traits of her for the betterment. She’s no damsel-in-distress and that’s what makes her my favorite second lead.
Like Bo Na to Eun Sang, her fondness for Da Jung started to sprout and I’ve never been so contented and happy. “Don’t smile at me. I’ll start to like you.” Awee!
P.S. I love her fashion!!!
