For the person asking about italy, i recommend staying for at least a week in florence, it's a small city but with lots of things to do. If you like art, don't miss the Uffizi gallety and the Galleria L'Accademia. Visit the Pitti Palace and it's gardens, which are beautiful. Enter in every Cathedral you see, but that I recommend you to do it in any part of Italy, they are all interesting even if you are not religious.
I needed travel advice as I will be studying abroad in Florence. Any places I should visit?! And how much money should be needed for 4 months of study (my breakfast and dinner are provided except on breaks and I am doing a homestay). Thanks!

Florence: The Gucci museum Cafe is really pretty The statue of David Walk along to the bridge and visit all the shops along that side Sit and eat in the middle of the main square in front of Santa Maria church (most beautiful I've ever seen)

For Italy: Florence and Siena are absolutely gorgeous. If you want to go to any art galleries in Florence: BOOK BEFOREHAND. The accademia was my fave, I found the if fix is bit heavy on religious paintings. Florence is relatively small to walk round - let yourself get a bit lost, find a pizzeria and enjoy!! Siena is old and so so beautiful. Also Venice, and Rome, obviously. Italy is amazing you will love it 😘

I’ve only visited Venice and it’s beautiful. Whatever you decide to do there you won’t regret it, trust me. I’d recommend you to visit Burano or Murano too and see how they make glass, it’s amazing.
