For Seattle question- if you are at Pike market/ embarcadero - check out Piroshki bakery near the starbucks -it is AWESOME. The line is kinda long, but it is worth it. Also- you can walk from the Needle to Sci-Fi museum to Chihuly Glass museum to Lake Union waterfront. (all worth visiting). Oh, also - there is a hidden gem- Fremont Troll- a statue of a troll under a bridge. Cool-looking place.
For the anon traveling to Seattle! You definitely have to visit Pike Place market but I wouldn't recommend going to the "first" Starbucks, it's not actually the first Starbucks and the line is so long it's not worth it. You should visit Alki beach, take a duck tour, visit the UW campus (it's SO beautiful), eat in the space needle, and if you have a car take a hike in snoqualmie!
For the Seattle ask: Besides the typical Pikes Place and Space Needle visits, make sure to check out the Freemont troll, and some parks (Gasworks and Kerry Parks are my favorite for good views, and Discovery Park is also really pretty and on the water). For museums, the Chihuly Garden is really beautiful, and the EMP is fun if you are into music/nerdy things. If you are over 21, Capitol Hill has really good nightlife (and is just a fun neighborhood to check out even if you aren't). Enjoy!
