By the way, for people who live in small spaces/apartments and keep hearing advice like “don’t keep a TV in your bedroom/devote a space for (working, reading, etc)”, I’ve found that positioning and modular spaces work just as well.
For instance, I lay on my bed the wrong way to chill out/read, which feels entirely different from getting under the covers to sleep. I have two different ways I can set up my desk/computer, so I use one for working and one for gaming.
You might not have the square footage to keep individual spaces for all your tasks, but you can probably find individual ways to do each task, or even pieces of decoration you can put up or take down. It’s a tiny bit of extra effort but it’s worth it.
