No no I don't think you understand. That's why you should stream. It'll be great, kind of like watching a really old scary movie. You enjoy the movie but you're really watching for the theatrical trainwreck. You could have Dan join and it'll seem like a big joke while we all actually lowkey really love this game.
as fun as it sounds dan would probably wanna do ANYTHING ELSE but ill work on setting up live stream on my lappy :o
You should stream yourself playing Undertale sometime!
I DONT THINK YOU GUYS CAN HANDLE WATCHING ME DIE A MILLION TIMES.
I've been wondering this for a while now actually. Are there different varieties of shelties? My family has had shelties as our main pet since I was very young after we rescued one. we rescued the first but the others have been pure breed and from reputable breeders for all I know. But compared to your pictures of Sparta and some of Sparta's friends. My dogs are much larger. Is it just the pictures or is it my shelties who have been big instead of Sparta unusually small?
Well, the answer to your question is yes. There’s plenty of variety in the breed but the two “main types” are British vs American lines, which have been bred to different standards and can look like two separate breeds at times. If you live in the US or somewhere with an AKC-derived standard, your shelties will most likely be built much heavier and be slightly larger than Sparta and her line. Most European and Australian shelties are bred to a British/FCI standard, in which “cloddiness and coarseness” is considered a serious fault, so they have finer build and smaller pointier faces.
Sparta is small but not unusually so - she’s at the bottom of the allowed size spectrum, but shelties are known to stray several inches both over and under the standard height. (AKC standard says 13-16 in. FCI says 35,5cm for females and 37cm for males but they can be 2,5cm off without being faulty. Sparta is 2cm off.) American shelties are said to be more likely to go over, but I don’t know if that’s true.
Hope that helps clear things up! :)
(Edit: Sparta is also miles out of coat, which helps make her look like the shrimpiest shrimp to ever shrimp. Both US and UK shelties usually have MUCH more.)
