Hey. So my latest video, while some people liked it, a couple others really didn't, and one even wrote a whole 3 paragraph practical essay on why they didn't like it. I read it and I understood why, but I still felt like shit. This was on a reddit post so I ended up deleting that post entirely. I really wanted to delete the video too but I forced myself to sleep before I did.
Hey, there’s always someone out there who isn’t going to like you, and there may even be people who hate what you do, but that’s okay!
Treat the people who love you and what you do over those who don’t. There’s no reason to allow someone to hurt you and cause you to delete you content- which, by extension, hurts your fans and friends.
It sounds like they took an awful lot of time to tell you things, was any of it constructive? Since it’s on Reddit i’m sort of inclined to think no, it wasn’t, just because they have all the time in the world to was ridiculous narratives of hate because they’ve got nothing else going on in their sad little lives.
Improve where you can! Don’t turn down feedback that helps you. If it’s becoming excessive and awful then trash it. It’s trash. Don’t let that crap bothe you! You can certainly move into a better place by say “bye” to haters!
