7 people were killed and 22 people were still missing . Thousands of dead animals, all the fauna and flora of the regions around the tragedy are destroyed. Cities affected by " mud " stopped the water supply, which means that, many people are without water in Minas Gerais. But it does not end here .. Keep reading to understand better.
What would that be?
Two dams of the mining company called Samarco have failed in the town of Mariana ( MG ) , on 5/ November 2015. In these dams had mud, solid waste and water. These debris are the result of mining in the region.
Debris dams took the river Gualaxo and arrived in the county of “Barra Longa”,which is 60 km from Mariana and 215 km from Belo Horizonte (Cities of Minas Gerais / Brazil ) .
According to the specialists,the mud reached the ‘Sweet River”,called Rio Doce ( The Sweet river and another Brazilian river in the southeast of the country , that bathes the states of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo . With around 853 km of Extension, your course represents the most important Watershed totally enclosed in the Southeast ) and will reach an area of about 10,000 km² in the coast - an area equivalent to more than six times the total size of São Paulo / Brazil .The damages are calculated in more than R $ 100 million,according to the Mayor of Mariana.
The issue does not end here. The fire department said on this Friday ( 13 November 2015 ) that three days ago were identified with the help of a drone , a set of about three meters in the Germano dam , the third of Samarco in Mariana and the only one that was not broken . The company denies the existence of this possible crack !!!
For this reason, i am asking that everybody help sharing this information.The world needs to know that.
The state of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo need your help. If you share this, more and more people are going to see, more people will sensitize ,and the media that wants to hide this occurrence, will be forced to give us attention.
Action needs to be taken ,they what to hide of everyone the big mistake committed by the company, we will not let that happen ,more and more people may die if this third dam burst. We will not let this happen !!!!
