I NEED HELP. I'm writing a paper for school (my thesis: "The idea that queer people are new or a trend is a purposeful rhetoric employed by the people empowered by systems that oppress queer people and is extremely harmful because it erases and ignores historical and scientific evidence while harming the queer people of today.")
Out papers can be a maximum of 5 pages. I only have my introduction and first two of five or six paragraphs done and I'm already a little bit on to page three. I have no idea what to cut or how to make it shorter but I desperately need to because I don't want to get points off for my paper being too long. Any advice about how to shorten my paper without taking out stuff that's literally imperative to my argument would be SO appreciated.
If anybody is interested, you can read it here. This post is specifically about the second draft.
