Very true that gifted kids need support/accommodations to help foster a proper learning environment for them including material unique to the standard curriculum. But Ive noticed that ever since the title was automatically followed by "*actually* special ed", people who grew up with intellectual disabilities have been getting their experience talked over, ridiculed, and pitied by those people. I used to be under the impression that the statement meant we'd be equals, but it is evident that sharing that identity made it easier to self soothe while pushing those total idiots down.. I don't know how to express my simultaneous feelings of relief and shame at this sham ceasefire in Gaza, after all this death and suffering. This shouldn't have happened. The genocide in Gaza has been broadcast live for two years, yet the world turned its back on its people. This ceasefire is merely the beginning of what will undoubtedly be a long struggle for a free Palestine and the return of its people. We must all remain hopeful, and more importantly, do more.
