RG @hgeluk: LANGTANG village... Moments after the earthquake struck on 25 April, a massive expanse of ice fell thousands of feet, creating an avalanche that wiped out a community where 400 people lived. Those that survived were moved to a relief camp at the site of the Yellow Gompa, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu. We visited the camp this week with deliveries of supplies and money for each of the surviving families of Langtang. It's been incredibly emotional - I'm not sure I'll ever quite find the words... empty eyes, lost hearts, grieving souls, and questions about the future... Everyone has lost one or more relatives, and nearly everything they own is lost. Their injuries range from bruises to multiple fractures. Many children appear oblivious to the fact that they are now orphans... Yet, understandably, many still dream of going back to Langtang and rebuilding their village... Your contributions continue to make a tremendous difference to so many men, women and children here in Nepal. Thank you so much for your support thus far... https://www.crowdrise.com/helpsherpashelpnepal @wearesherpa @thenthdegreeclublondon #wearesherpa #NepaliLoveYou #NepalEarthquake #NepalEarthquakeRelief #Langtang #nepalwillrise #helpsherpahelpnepal #regramapp
