@helvitis​❤’d      —      she sits in isolation, far from the bar  ...  and yet there is no doubt that edie is observing all around her.  this is not her usual scene, but the specter is not here for her own pleasure;  the night watch never sleeps and never wavers.  the young women drinking all merrily are not brides, but they are vulnerable souls  ...  by god, they will make it home safely, edie guarantees it.  nevertheless, she's sorely out of place in this crowd;  her long garb & dark veil don’t scream ‘festive’ by any means.

     ONE HAND HOLDS A CUP securely while the other is in the pocket of her jacket as she steps into the shop and glances around, inspecting the artwork and photos of completed pieces on the walls. she’s finished working a case and decided to hand around a little while. the shop isn’t her intended destination, but rayne couldn’t help herself. once in a while she finds herself in a tattoo shop, but it’s been years since she actually got one.
