New(?) hemospectrum headcanon:

Highbloods are more physically powerful bc they are more closely related to seadwellers, who are the “OG” troll race. As we’ve seen w them, they live in very harsh conditions, so of course they’ve had to make up for it somehow; thus we see the increased physical strength and durability. The further down on the hemospectrum you go, the more distant the troll is from their seadweller ancestors. Being that they have been on land for many centuries, it would make sense that the low blooded trolls would be very common seeing as it would be more unusual for land dwellers to have a closer relation to seadwellers.

Jadebloods may be as rare as they are due to them technically being a third, newer race of trolls ( rainbow drinkers ), which has led to the highbloods keeping their population in check for fear of what abilities they may have or even develop over time.

This theory will need more fleshing out, but hopefully the rough idea makes sense.

hemospectrum headcanons: discuss (i only did current hermits but ll/3rdl/past hermits/mindcrack/etc open for hcs as well)

highblood - zedaph (violet or purple), xisuma, rendog, pearl, joe, grian (i think the obvious answer is candyred but maybe also violet), scar (fuchsia or teal),

midblood - cleo (olive), tango (teal), iskall (lime convinced hes olive), impulse (jade), wels (cobalt or indigo), gem (olive or bronze), false (indigo), bdubs (olive and feral), cub (teal), jevin (cobalt but tbh i no nothing abt this man)

lowblood - xb (bronze), vintagebeef (gold or bronze), tfc, stress (bronze), mumbo (rust), keralis, hypno (bronze?), doc (gold or olive? maybe cobalt), etho (gold)

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned once before that I had this headcanon (Which I'm pretty sure can't be canon anyway, because it was stated that there are only 2 fuchsia bloods alive at a time, I think.) that Gl'bgolyb has more than one mouth and fuchsia heir apparents build their hives on different sides of Gl'bgolyb and each one has to feed the mouth or she will release the 'Vast Glub'.

But the thing is, since fuchsia bloods have a genetic trigger to kill the others, they are kept away from the current empress and each other so they think that they are the only heir, until there are battles set up and they'll meet for the first time. The winner of those battles has to face the empress and battle for the throne.

Like I said though, I don't think that this can actually be canon. xD

Y'know I have a headcanon with the hemospectrum that due to Andrew's lack of any information on how low the Sea dwelling trolls blood can go. I believe that the lowest they can go is like the Aqua/Teal Blooded caste. But who knows? It could be much lower than that, considering that the Landdwelling trolls go from Burgandy to Purple which is like a span of 10 Levels of the castes. But I'd like to think it stops at the Teal Bloods, because water is usually associated with Blue and well The teal bloods are last part of the blues before it transforms into Green Blood.

Though I still find it odd how Equius's Blood color is Very bright Compared to other troll blood colors in which they are all a much more duller color. Like Equius's blood would be considered a mutant variant or something if natural blood colors of trolls are supposed to be in dull in color. 

Anyways despite this headcanon of mine, The Seadwelling Trolls in friendstuck are in violet blood territory. Though I might make some non-important seadwelling trolls that serve as backstory filling for the main trolls in Friendstuck.
