Tamotsu looked to the direction of the man, brows furrowing. “What, seriously? That’s fucking dangerous — who, I’ll kill ‘em!” He seemed to not notice the own hypocrisy in his statement, clearly causing a fight with the intent to kill was not the greatest idea, but bad ideas was all Tamotsu had, usually. Of course, he wouldn’t ACTUALLY kill someone (probably, hopefully ), it was just his old delinquent ways creeping through his speech.

aoi stared at kanami in confusion. did he read his hands correctly? sure he’s had years to learn he took those classes for a reason, but he still couldn’t be sure. with a little hesitation, aoi leaned closer to him, his face dark red. “just know that yer the one that wanted to do this.” after the words left his mouth, the blond closed the space between them. it was just a short kiss, but to aoi it felt like an hour.

when he pulled away his face was a crimson color and he couldn’t find any words so all he could do was push kanami away before he muttered out a ‘sorry’ and ran off. he was embarrassed, but he didn’t dislike it. what did that mean? this middle school life was weird.

Battle intro: “ I-I’m not so sure about this- Isn’t a third year vs a first year sorta u-unfair-? ”

Victory: “ I..I did it? I- I actually won-? Oh my g o d! Kaede w a s right about taking those martial arts classes... ”

Defeat: “ Gh..Well, I...I expected that, to be honest. Ohhhhhhhhhgod I need to take some aspirin. I think a headaches coming on...  ” 

Assist: “ Heeeyyyy....If you get to call someone then I’m gonna call my brother. No need to make this more unfair than it already is... ”

Taunt: “ You’re supposed to be a third year, right? You can hit harder than THAT! ”

Reacting to Taunt: “ ...I am N O T a gnome and you are going to geT CUT- ”

Tie: “ ...Look- we’re both exhausted. S-should we just stop here-? ”

Perfect Victory: “ A-Are you okay-? That...That was a l o t easier than I expected. Are you feeling alright-? ”

The owl’s face showed a hint of uneasiness, one that was hard to miss unless you paid close attention. She had finally managed to get some time alone with Tamotsu, but it seemed to be going rather badly.. She was pinned against a wall after all. Or, perhaps this was actually going well, after all the next step could easily be a kiss.. Even if he’d have to bend down quite a distance for it. Her heartbeat quickened at the idea, a blush almost making it’s way to her cheeks.. But she quickly brushed that thought away, that seemed too out of character for him after all. It was much more likely that she would wake up in the infirmary with an aching beak instead.

“Usually you don’t wait this long to punch, you really shouldn’t hesitate if you’re trying to make me go away.”

Just with that line a l o n e, Kumi was internally FREAKING out. Her mind was RUSHING back to everything in the guidebook, t r y i n g to cherrypick all the possible causes for sudden fatigue or fainting spells. This is what led to the child suddenly blurting anything out she could. 

“ O-Oh gosh, are you d e h y d r a t e d or anything-? Do you need water? D-Do you have a fever-!?…O-Or do you just need to sit down somewhere-??? I’m sure there’s a bench or something nearby… ”
