Tomoya-kun
“I don’t want to be seen as cute forever!” he complained with a laugh. It was a little embarrassing to be called cute and if that would continue people wouldn’t take him for full or they would simply mock him.
He shook his head, laughing more. “If I’d look like a thug all the fans would run away!” he laughed. He would never look like one, not even if he would change his whole appearance and attitude. It was better like this.
It was fine to look like a normal boy. As much as he wanted to change his ordinary self, he was somewhat happy that he neither looked like a thug nor could be mistaken for a girl.
“Only if we got a job.” Tomoya said and giggled. “We don’t always have jobs, so we even with lessons and club activities we have time to enjoy what we want.” He shook his head at her next question. “Well, you can do that, but you still have to take care of your reputation too. As long as we don’t cause trouble in public it should be fine.”
“Eh?” he couldn’t help but to blush a little. “You’re lying!”
“You can be tall and cute, you know! Your face is baby face after all!” that’s just her opinion, don’t trust her. For now, Tomoya is already tall, she wonders until where he would grow?
“yes! And that would be bad , right?” she frowned. “i prefer you to be small like this!”
she blinked.
“You wouldn’t even pass as a shota, you’re too tall!” Kirara giggled at her own words. She doesn;t know why she finds it really funny.
Of course he doesn’t look like a girl. If he must look similar like a girl, that girl would be very boyish and a tomboy.
“Ah, really?” she doesn’t know that. SHe really thought that his unit always got jobs and is really nbusy that they don’t have the time for school. It seems that she’s wrong.
“why would I lie? Tomoya-kun is really cute, funny and easy to talk with! And oh did I mention that you’re handsome?” She smiles.
Tomoya-kun
The good advice was something he would always get from his seniors. He’d simply remember them and tell them to others whenever they needed it. If he had to come up with something by himself he usually messed up quite a bit.
His smile grew wider, happy that he was allowed t hug her back. It was the first time that he hugged a girl besides his little sister. Actually, he was a little embarrassed but hugging Kirara felt nice.
If he knew that he felt like a hugging pillow again, he would have complained. Luckily he didn’t. It would have been the second time that a girl considered him a hugging pillow.
Maybe it was because he hugged his little sister often, telling her that he will protect her that Kirara would think the same. Though, he didn’t mind it. If he could protect her, he would do it as best as he could.
When she ruffled his hair Tomoya felt like a child but he didn’t stop her. Kirara meant no harm. “Good!” he said, smiling widely. “And don’t listen to anyone who tells you something else!”
To be quite honest, this is the first time that she hug a guy as well. Though she doesn’t feel like she is hugging a boy. It’s like hugging somebody who is a family. It’s weird, she knows, but Tomoya is somebody who is close to her. And she wouldn’t want to lose him.
He smells nice.
Does boys always smell this nice? Or is it just Tomoya? She doesn’t know, but she likes the way he smells , and his temperature, his breathing. Everything just calms her down.
“You smell nice...”
she whispers, chuckling. Of course she knew it was rather embarrassing not to mention she said that to a boy. Who is around her age!!
“mmhm!” she nodded. It really feels like she’s with a family.
Eichi
He didn’t look away from her until she released her hand, noticing the waiter. Ah, this was a little embarrassing, even Eichi had a faint pink coloring his cheeks as he watched the waiter placing their orders on the table. A soft chuckle escaped him once the waiter had turned around to leave. This was a unexpected interruption but he didn’t mind. From now on they had enough time to spend together without worrying.
Eichi took the cup of tea and smiled at her. “Yes,” he took a sip before he continued. “But I will find another surprise for the festival. I only ask you to wait until the day of the festival.” If it wasn’t a confession then he would surprise her with something else. Eichi just needed to find something, there were so many things to choose. It would be so hard.
“It’s alright.” Eichi chuckled softly. He gazed at her with a gentle smile. “Now I’m even more eager to leave the hospital soon.” So they could spend their time having fun and making many memories rather than staying in the hospital all the time.
“You don’t have to take care of me all the time.” Eichi replied, laughing softly. It was amusing to see her reaction. Kirara’s reactions were always nice to watch, she was so cute. They would take care of each other, with that he was fine but he didn’t want her to look after him all the time. Though, if it was Kirara it wouldn’t bother him. Yet, he’d rather have fun with her than making her worry all the time.
“I’ll try not to trouble you too much with my frail body.”
She is actually surprised that eichi is going to prepare another surprise. Even though he doesn't have to?
She feels a little bad.
"You don't have to do that you know..." she told him with a frown. " i mean, being with you is enough. "
But then again, she thought , Eichi appearance really resembles his personality.
He really is kind and sweet. He's too good for her.
Of course she would want Eichi to leave the hospital. But she didnt mind if he isn't able to be discharged from the hospital soon.
She will still meet him and visit him.
Kirara chuckles softly as she put another spoon inside her mouth. Even when it's just a cafe in the hospital, she thinks the desserts are really good!
Usually they don't even have a decent food in the hospital
"But...."
She looked at the other blond. She really wants to take care of Eichi. In good health, or worse.
"You're never a trouble!!" She shakes her head with disaproval. Even when he has a weak body , and often hospitalized , she didn't --- no, she never see him as bother. "You're rather strong for a sick person."
She grinned.
Looking back, she remembered him being so stubborn for not wanting to go to the hospital.
"You're pretty stubborn and head strong." She chuckles.
eichi
Crying wasn’t embarrassing at all, not even in public. Not that he had done this before but he thought it was normal. Sometimes it would be hard to hold back the feelings, especially when they started to become overwhelming. He even thought of her as adorable. Though, he preferred her smile over her crying. A smile did suit her much better. Kirara never made a fool of herself. And definitely not now. There weren’t many people in this cafe and they probably didn’t even pay attention to them. People tended to focus on themselves most of the time, so why bothering about two ‘kids’?
He was glad that he could comfort her and make her stop crying for now. He wasn’t the best at it but seeing how Kirara calmed down made him calm down a little as well. Though, the excitement he felt still remained, making his heart skip another beat once their eyes met. When he saw how her cheeks reddened again he couldn’t hold back a soft chuckle. She is just too cute, he couldn’t even find words to describe it.
“I planned to surprise you at the festival but I guess that’s not necessary anymore.” Eichi smiled, not daring to look away from her. Kirara’s hand was so soft and warm on his own, it was one of the most wonderful feelings he ever felt.
It was a little surprising how fast her mood changed. It was nice and also contagious. However, her next statement made him laugh a little. It was a little ironic to say this to him, he just couldn’t hold back a laugh. “I promise to take care of you.” he said and smiled wider. “But shouldn’t I say that to you? I’m the sick one, you know.” of course, Eichi only joked. He would take care of her and make her as happy as he could.
The more she looks at him, the more she feels embarrassed. As Eichi hasn't stopped looking at her, not even once.
She still couldn't believe that he accepted her feelings. For somebody who never has any experience with a boy before, this is really making her nervous.
Will she able to be a good match for him?
Pushing that aside, she decided to just enjoy today with Eichi. She can think about that later.
She brushes her fingers against him. Smiling softly, she notices how the waiter has been standing right next to their table.
Embarrassed, Kirara immediately releases her hand and looks away. This is why she dislikes a confession in public!
So embarrassing.
Once the waiter has given their orders, kirara is still embarrassed and decided to eat her parfait to make it less awkward.
"Huh?" She looks up. "So that's what do you mean with 'surprise'..." she chuckles softly. And she thought it was something she can relate with presents or things
"Mmhm. I was hoping to confess after you got out from the hospital too. But I guess... I can't hold my feelings anymore."
Yeah, she ruined her own plan.
She has always been quick to change moods. Maybe it's because she always act in front of people , that her mood always changes rather quickly?
She giggled.
Hearing his last statement made her to scratch her cheeks shyly.
"Hehe," she chuckles. " Then we shall take care of each other!!! " she is embarrassed for forgetting that when she told him that! She had to make up excuses in embarrassement.
Oh, why would she forgot about that earlier?! She's too happy because Eichi has accepted her feelings! She speaks without even thinking!
Eichi
The situation became overwhelming. There was so much going on, he didn’t know about. The air felt heavy, leaving little to breath as easily as before. But at the same time it felt also so light that he thought it even the air was disappearing to leave them alone in their own little world. He would have loved that. Only Kirara and him, no one else who could bother them. He would love that. Other girls didn’t interest him, none of the people around him were as gentle and exciting as Kirara and if he had to choose he would always choose her before anyone else. Although he was sure he would leave him once she got introduced to the unpleasant Eichi, who had hurt many others. She would disagree, of course, she never has seen him being like this, a cruel tyrant that ruled over others with an iron fist. And if he was honest, it was for the better if she didn’t know about it. However, he also wouldn’t hide it from her if the situation would demand an explanation.
It was quiet for a while. Even Eichi who always had an easy time speaking, didn’t know what to say nor what to do. It was confusing, overwhelming but on top of that he wasn’t sure whether to regret the kiss or not. It was when he noticed her teary eyes, that he squeezed her hand gently. Eichi wasn’t the best in comforting others, he rarely did something like that but for Kirara he would do his best. He just couldn’t allow himself to lose her to his mistakes! But when he heard her words his eyes widened in surprise. He looked at her for a while even if she faced the table rather than him. She liked him? It took an moment for him to realize what had just happened. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard but it also made him very happy. His cheeks were colored in a soft pink and finally, his smile returned. It was a happy one, yet gentle and even a little relieved. So he wasn’t wrong? And not only he liked her but Kirara also liked him back? It made him so happy that his heart immediately started to beat faster. If it would stop and kill him in the process, he was sure he would die with a smile on his face. Before he finally gave her a response, he placed his other hand on her cheek and wiped away her tears.
“Please don’t cry.” he said softly, smiling at her. “I like you too, Kirara. No, I love you.”
It was embarrassing to cry in front of Eichi, In front of the person which she admired, and loved. He must have thing that she is a cry baby. Who the hell cries after being kissed?
It looks like she is the only one, which is super embarrassing.
Not only that, she also confessed to him while crying! Not to mention she ruined her own plan to confess after Eichi is out from the hospital, she also made a fool of herself to confess in public.
She felt that Eichi has squeezed her hand gently. It comforts her. Just a single touch from him is able to make her to calm down. She wasn’t sure if she regrets that she confess to him or not. Sure, she feels a bit lighter because the weight she has been carrying inside of her is gone. But now what?
Is she able to move on, and accepts if she had destroyed their friendship? She doesn’t know.
She widened her eyes as she feels Eichi’s soft hand on her cheeks, whiping her tears away. Automatically, it made her to lift her head up her golden eyes landed on him.
He’s smiling...?
And that smile is different than the smile that he always gave her in the past. It’s way happier, and gentler. Is he smiling because of her confession? Or is it because something else?
Hearing his response, she doesn’t believe what she’s hearing. He likes her too? He loves her? She is lost of words for a moment. She is relieved, because she isn’t going to lose Eichi. And happy because he returned her feelings.
It took awhile before her cheeks are red. Even her ears are also red.
“Eichi...”
Kirara slowly smiles as she touches his hand on her cheeks. She really is a lucky girl.
“Thank you. “ she replies him, finally. And just like that, her mood changes. “I’ll make you happy!” even if he has a frail body, she would cherish her time with him. And makes lots of memories with him!
“Please take care of me!”
Tomoya-kun
Some day she will definitely see his childish side, the one who runs away and screams all the time. Even if she would have to meet the rest of the theater club for this. There he was screaming the most.
The hug felt nice, but who could even think of a hug as anything bad? That was impossible, especially when it was such a kindhearted gesture. Tomoya liked it a lot even when he didn’t get to hug others often, more because he wasn’t on such a ‘touchy’ level with others, especially not with the ones who would offer him a lovely hug a few times per day.
His smile grew a bit wider and his cheeks were colored soft red, not because he was embarrassed but because he was happy. Was it ok to hug her back? He wasn’t sure, so before he did something that would make her feel uncomfortable he decided to ask.
“Can I hug you back?” It was quiet, though.
She would make him happy again, he believed that without a doubt! Knowing that Kirara would be there for him made him feel happy.
“You have to!” No, she didn’t have to and she probably didn’t believe him. He was just being stubborn. But that’s just how he is when he isn’t entirely sure about something.
It’s weird. Befriending Tomoya is like having an older brother and a younger brother in one packet. Sometimes his innocence and naive self reminds her of a child. But when he gave advice, he is more mature, and she sees him more like an older brother.
“Of course!”
she replies as she lets him to hug her back. SHe wasn’t the type who will gives others affection often. She only gave it towards the people who needed it the most
Not to be expected, he actually feels a bit taller than her. Of course, he is slim; but not as slim as girls. It actually feels like hugging a pillow.
It feels nice, and safe. It’s like saying Tomoya will protect her, no matter what. Though she agrees that Tomoya wouldn’t feel the same way. But she feels safe.
“Okay, okay! I believe you!” a giggle can be heard as she ruffles his hair jokingly.
Tomoya-kun
Compared to the others in his school he really was one of the smallest. He’d grow taller, so there was no problem with that. It’s not like his height bothered him. He was even a bit taller than his senior, which could lead to some very amusing situations.
“Our unit can’t do anything against the growing process of an boy! I can’t stay small forever! People would laugh at me when I’m older!”
He said and started to laugh afterwards.
“Maybe I’ll look like a thug when I work out.”
It wasn’t common for people to touch him. No, actually it happened on rare occasions, at least poking and tickling. Why does he have to be so ticklish? He was sure she’d tickle him again, someday when he won’t expect it!
“Eh?” He remembered that she said that earlier but why should he wear the dress more often? “But- But I’m not a girl!” Although, he really looked like one if a certain someone would play around with him.
He grinned at her cheekily. “Idols also have time for friends and other things.” he replied and chuckled. “You could meet them at blind dates? Didn’t you say you meet people there?”
“Pffft! Hahahahaha! Or people will love you because you are so cute!” maybe a bit laughable, she agrees with his statement. Other than bullies, she can’t think of people who will laugh at him to mock him.
She blinked.
“A thug? Muscles are one thing, but your face don’t pass as a thug! “ she giggled, laughing at his words. Though maybe if he is more scary and change his hair style and fashion, maybe he would look like a thug.
To be honest he doesn’t look like a girl. A tomboy? Maaaaybe. But for an ordinary girl, she doubt he’ll pass.
“mmhm? I thought you guys are busy with promotions, and shoots ? Aren’t that what idols do ? “ She’s comparing with other celebrities. “ So you guys are allowed to date without having a scandal?”
“Hmmm... I only go for blind dates if my friends goes too. “To be quite honest she is just interested with the food. “Most of the guys aren’t even attractive. You’re more attractive than them.”

Eichi
If he would know what’s going on in Kirara, he wouldn’t have stayed quiet. He would have done anything he could to keep her close and bring a smile to her face until they could go to the festival and many more places. Anywhere, to surprise her and make her understand just how much she meant to him. Sometimes he thought it was sad that he couldn’t look into other’s minds.
The smile never vanished, even as he listened to her and how she disagreed with his words, it never vanished for even a second. Kirara didn’t believe him, that was fine, someday she would have to believe him. However, her next statement surprised him. He was able to do that? He, the one who trampled on so many people, shed blood of innocents and abused the name of friendship only to reach an selfish goal? If it was possible he would like to never show his dark side to her. Kirara is kindhearted and innocent, he wasn’t sure if she would be able to accept such a horrible side of him.
Things didn’t go as planned. Actually Eichi didn’t plan to kiss her. However that thought was pushed aside shortly after she gave him a kiss on his cheek. To him it was not just a simple gesture. It assured him that he wasn’t the only one who felt like this. Warm and comfortable with each other, enjoying the moments together and silently wishing for more, not knowing if the other was fine with it. But now he thought it was alright to do it and without thinking any further Eichi had just acted upon impulse. Not that he did regret this decision. No, he was happy with it despite seeing the confused expression on her features as soon as he had moved back to a normal distance.
“I hope I didn’t do something that made you feel uncomfortable.” There was concern in the tone of his voice, hoping that the kiss wasn’t something she would dislike. Yet, if she would push him away now he would have to accept it. And so, he let go of her cheek only to place his hand on top of hers while he offered her the gentlest smile. His hand was shaking just a little, he was nervous and excitement. It was so hard to restrain himself but otherwise his heart would probably set out due to feeling nervous and excitement like never before.
What to do with this feeling? Now that she had fall too deep, she can't imagine moving on without him by her side.
It was selfish, she knew. But she doesn't want to share Eichi . She hates this feeling. Since she wouldn't like it if he's with another girl other than her.
Why is she being like this? When he's not even hers to begin with?
She needs to grab a mirror and take a good look of herself. All of sudden , she doesn't feel confident about her looks.
She doesn't even look feminine, or look like a woman.
Of course she would disagree about those things. She has never seen that side of him yet, she doesn't believe that Eichi is capable of doing something like that.
Uncomfortable? Hardly! She feels so overwhelmed! The happiness, and nervousness combined into one.
Of course she is embarrassed when Eichi kisses her. Especially when he kisses her in public.
Her red tint on her cheeks never leaves. The feelings suffocates her. It's too overwhelming, she can't think straight. Half of it because this is her first kiss. Half of it because she tries to figure out how Eichi feels about her.
The more she thinks about it, the more anxious and upset she became. His lips is so soft, and warm ; it made her to not think about anything else.
Then she heard his voice. Gentle and soft, just like always.
"..."
She won't push him, but his actions confuses her. How can she move on now? Her eyes watered. She is afraid to know about his feelings.
What if he doesn't love her like she did to him?
What if that was just a 'kiss'?
The more she thinks about it, more tears falls down to her cheeks. She felt his warm hand on the top of hers. She immediately links her fingers with his.
It seems that she needs to tell him now.
"I like you." she whispered, face facing the table. Eyes closing , only to force more tears to fall.
"Eichi, I like you."
Tomoya-kun
Amazing? No, not at all. Even if he did sound mature sometimes, he was still childish. Whenever he could he was running away like a scared little rabbit. He did that too often and he disliked that trait of him more than anything else. If something was too difficult, he would simply turn his back towards it and give up.
However, this wasn’t the case for his friends and the people he wanted to be close with. He adored them and wanted to make everyone happy, despite being scared of so many things.
Tomoya chuckled when Kirara hugged him. He didn’t expect it but he also didn’t mind it. It was a friendly hug, there was absolutely nothing bad about it.
“You don’t have to promise.” he laughed. “I know you will. If I cry, I’ll come to you.” which was definitely not 100% honest of him. When he would cry he’d rather be alone than be seen by anyone. Luckily this didn’t happen often.
“I’m not!” he complained, pouting. “You’re just being too curious! But I said that I only like him, there is nothing special about it!”
Of course, she doesn’t know his childish demeanor. The way she sees it, while he is pure and innocent, Tomoya has pretty good opinions. And she thinks he’s mentally matured.
Even if he doesn’t realized it.
When was the last time she ever hug somebody? After that incident, she has pushed people away. Including her family.
It actually feels nice to hug somebody. And Tomoya feels nice. He’s warm, and soft ; it calms her down. She doesn’t know how he feels about her hugging him like this, but she doesn’t regret it.
“Mmhm! “ She nodded. “ And I’ll make you happy again.” she slowly rubs his shoulders, closing her eyes.
She giggled.
“hehehe, okay, okay, I believe Tomoya-kun!”
Tomoya-kun
He couldn’t hold back a laugh. She really thought he was the cutest? He wouldn’t fight back, although there were others more cute than him. But if she was sure about that, he wouldn’t say any more. It was her opinion, after all and even if he didn’t agree fully, he respected it.
“Someday I’ll be taller, then I won’t be cute anymore.” It would probably take a good amount of years for him to grow much taller. He was slightly smaller than average, he’d have to wait until puberty hits properly.
“Stop that!” Tomoya complained, yet he laughed. He was so ticklish, sometimes it was like a curse, but seeing Kirara laugh made him laugh too. It was contagious.
“For me you are pretty!” he refused to give in this time. Even if Kirara denied it, she was pretty. “Next time you will have to wear the dress.” he chuckled, pointing at the dress in her arms.
“Everyone will find someone,” he replied with a grin. “And if you can’t one I’ll introduce you to everyone at school. They’re all excited when they see a girl, you’ll definitely find one!” Of course he wouldn’t do it, even if most of the students he knew were kind

It wasn’t like Tomoya is short . To be quite honest, he is tall in her opinion, Well taller than most girls anyway. He’s pretty normal. It’s just his face and personality that catches her eyes.
He really is cute.
“Maybe if you work out a bit! But i thought your unit won’t allow you to grow taller?”
she smiles, tilting her head.
“Pfft hahahahaha!! Okay, okay i’ll stop!” Though she would tickle him more later, it’s amusing on how Tomoya reacts with her touch. It’s just a simple touch but he’s already so ticklish!
“W-Wha?!” she immediately frowns. “ I don’t wanna! I don’t like dresses! Besides Tomoya-kun should wear dresses more!”
Kirara looks at him for a bit, chuckling. “I’m not that desperate for a boyfriend. Besides! I’m busy with my studies! And most of the students here are idols right? You all must be busy with your idol job!”
Eichi
Some people knew that Eichi liked to tease others, make jokes or morbid puns about himself. Yet, he wouldn’t dare to tease Kirara with his words. He only spoke the truth when he was with her. How could he ever lie to someone he held dear? Kirara had a very special place in his heart, one no one was ever able to get before. If Kirara believed it or not, Eichi liked her, no, he loved her. But telling her this… no, a hospital definitely was the wrong place for something like that. Seeing her red face, he couldn’t hold back a soft chuckle. She was so cute, it gave him a hard time to restrain himself from coming closer and showing her just how much he loved her.
“You may not believe it but to me you really are special.” She was wonderful and if she didn’t want to accept he’d tell her more often until she believed it. His kindness towards her was genuine, unlike the kindness he showed others in school. With Kirara, it just felt so natural to be kind and not cautious about anything. It was like a miracle. A beautiful miracle. “Sunshine?” he chuckled softly, tilting his head as if he didn’t understand what she had said. But he did understand it completely. It was just so unusual to hear something so positive about himself when he was known as the tyrant of his school. “I’m far away from being sunshine,” he then replied, smiling at her. A small light in middle of an myriad of stars, one that wouldn’t be seen if one wouldn’t search for it, that’s mor fitting for him, he thought but decided not to tell her.
The peck on his cheek was unexpected and left an surprised expression on his face, and added a faint pink after an short moment. It was short but it gave him a warm feeling, his heart would immediately beat faster and his head turned to the side for an moment. “…?” For the first time in a long time Eichi didn’t know what to answer or what to do. But he knew he couldn’t leave the situation like this. She seemed to be embarrassed by her actions, that much he could tell as he turned his head again to look at her. An moment later his smile returned and even if this wasn’t the perfect place, he placed his hand on her cheek and forced her gently to look at her. “Would you mind…” he paused, bringing their faces close enough to each other that he could press a gentle but short kiss on her lips.
She widened her eyes as she heard his replies. Kirara wishes to forget about him as the time passes, but after hearing him telling her how she is special to him, Kirara isn't sure. She plans to confess to Eichi during the festival , and after that she will move on with her life.
But this... he just gave her a new hope? Is there a possiblity for her feelings to be returned?
Is it okay for not giving up after all?

She isn't able to reply to his statement. This is just too much to accept! Locking her eyes on his again, she listens to his other answers.
"Why?" This time , she manages herself to reply . " I disagree!" She won't accept it. If he is willing to convince her that she is special, then she will convince him that he's not a bad person.
" Y-You.." she pauses . " You gave me a reason to keep moving forward. You light up my bleak world!"
She doesn't know about his dark past, nor his dark side of his personality. If he lets her, someday, she would like to know that side of him better.
But for now , to her, he has a kind heart.
Not long after she had give him a peck, Kirara noticed how surprised he is. She is well prepared if Eichi would be uncomfortable with her, maybe even cutting their friendship because of her silly actions .
She just couldn't think of a decent reason of why she just kissed his cheek! One thing for sure, she can't stop herself. She thought , this is the last time that she can gives him 'hints' about her feelings. The last kiss before she is willing to forget her feelings about him.
She widened her eyes as she feels his hand on her cheeks. Weirdly, Eichi's hand feels warm. And yet she thinks that his hand will be cold since he's sick.
But her shock won't end there.
The moment she gives in to him, and (is forced) to look at him, she knew that this will not end well.
But at the same time, she feels nervous.
Her cheeks reddened as she sees him moving closer to her face. Wha--What is he doing?!
"E-Ei---"
She couldn't think straight. Instead, she let's Eichi to kiss her lips.
"....."
Her first kiss experience isn't what she expects to be, but she didn't hate it. Rather than being upset about it, she is confused with Eichi's actions.
Why did he kiss her?
Eichi
Teasing her? But he wasn’t doing anything like this. Kirara’s reaction really was cute. He loved watching her, it made him chuckle. “But I’m not teasing you. I would never tease you, Kirara.” He would tease her, but not about something like this. Only about things both could laugh about. The smile never left his lips. Was it embarrassing for her to hear him saying that? He thought it was, but it didn’t stop him. She would have to get used to it, because Eichi was sure he would do it more often in the future. “Of course. How could I ever be not interested?”
His eyes wandered to their hands for an moment, still smiling. She really was kind, losing her grip on his hand, she must have thought it would hurt him but in reality it only felt nice. Very nice. Eichi almost found himself being sad about it. His eyes were locked on her golden ones again as she answered him, he chuckled softly, shaking his head. “What is there not to accept? In front of me is a wonderful person who makes me happy.” he said, his voice quieter than usual. He didn’t say anything too special but he only wanted Kirara to hear his words. They were only meant for her. Feeling the gentle squeeze again Eichi’s smile immediately grew wider but remained soft. Officially this wasn’t a date but he liked to think about it as one. Spending time with her felt even more special today than on any other day before, not only because of the change of location. She always found a way to make his heart skip one, two beats. He returned the squeeze, gentle and careful.
“I’m happy about the rain. Now I have all the sunshine me.” he chuckled almost a little mischievous.
If that's not teasing, did he meant all of it? Usually people use that words only when they wants to tease some.girls, or picking girls up.
Though it seems that Eichi is serious about it.
But what does he mean with his actions? If he's being like this, it will make her to think that he likes her!
She really needs to stop day dreaming like that.
She really doesn't know how to respond other than giving him her red face.
She widened her eyes as she hears his responds. Her heart beats faster. Is he just saying that to tease her more , or .. just like before, it's the truth.
His actions confuses her.
"......"
She refuses to see his smile this time.
"I'm not really that great.."
She mumbles, doesn't really want him to hear that. He's over praising her. She's not like what he described.
Looking at their hands , kirara couldn't help but to feel a bit nervous. She's happy that Eichi treats her with kindness. And she probably will find herself falling deeper for him
She looked into his eyes, once again. Hearing his last statement just made her to blush more.
She doesn't know whether it's a joke or not .
"Eichi, I should be the one who says that." She smiled. " You're my sunshine."
She forces a little smile , bending down a little bit , before she gives him a peck on the cheeks. Her mind went blank , to be quite honest. She doesn't know how in the world she can have such a courage to do that.
Her cheeks turns bright red , once again.
"....... "
Even her, she is lost in words. She can't even manage to speak. Nor to apologize.
"....."
But one thing for sure, after that 'peck on the cheeks' incident , Kirara releases his hand and looks away. That's so embarrassing!
Tomoya-kun
“I’m not that cute.” he giggled. No, the other members of his unit were much cuter, he was convinced of that. And they all had special talents.
If he knew that he wasn’t such a ordinary person, maybe he would feel a bit better about himself sometimes. He doubted his abilities a bit too much.
“Stop that, it tickles.” Tomoya laughed, shifting a bit. Poking him was totally fine but he was a bit ticklish, though he didn’t tell that anyone.
No matter what she would say, he really thought she was pretty. It wasn’t only because of her looks but also because of her character. If others wouldn’t see that she’s pretty they must have been blind.
“Hah? But you look like a girl.” Of course, he didn’t point anything out that came to his mind in this moment, it would be embarrassing. “And you’re pretty!”
And then he giggled, pointing at her. “Or could it be that you’re a cursed frog and need to be kissed to turn into a princess?” Tomoya only joked about that. He doubted that something like this could be possible.
“You are! “ she supported her opinion. “You’re the cutest boy I ever met!” especially in his dress. But of course she wouldn’t say that out loud. It will hurt his pride as a boy.
She refuses that there are probably cuter boys than Tomoya, but for her he is really the most adorable person she ever met.
Looking at him shifting a little bit because of her poking him, Kirara smirks. So Tomoya is ticklish? Kirara couldn’t stop herself from laughing. Oh man, everything about him is just too cute and pure.
She’s glad that she is able to befriend such a cute person.
“Huh? “ She widened her eyes. Did he just call her pretty? is he blind? Compared to her, maybe Tomoya with a wig is much prettier! “Are you sick? I’m not pretty!”
Obviously embarrassed, kirara tries to mask it with denial.
“Pffft!” she laughed. “ Who in their right mind would want to kiss me? Haha. Tomoya-kun, you’re funny!”
she slaps his shoulders.
Tomoya-kun
Tomoya didn’t have any experience with love and if he was honest he didn’t want to collect any negative ones just now. It would affect his daily probably a lot more than he thought it would.
And so he would just try to see it positive. Though, it was definitely the hardest part about it.
“I know,” he nodded with a big smile. “I can count on you.” Friends are the best thing that could ever happen to him. Being sad was almost impossible. Not to mention that idol activities would distract him too.
She had all rights to interfere with him or his decisions, friends always had those rights, since they knew what was better for the one who couldn’t the end of the tunnel.
“Eh? Not?” Though, he liked them all, she was completely right with her assumption. She was really good at this! “He didn’t catch my eyes… he’s just a member of the same club.”
It’s amazing on how Tomoya can stay like this. Though that’s what made her to admire him. Sometimes he appears to be younger than her. Soemtimes, he is more mature than her. She doesn’t know, that Tomoya has those kind of things as his charms.
And even more amazing, that he wants to be friends with her. He accepted her, when others dont.
“Thank you.” she smiles, quickly hugging him again. Of course it’s just a harmless , friendly hug.
“For counting on me. I will make you happy! I promise!” Tomoya is the last person she wanted to hurt. She doesn’t want to hurt somebody again.
She giggled. “Tomoya-kun you’re so obvious!” he can deny it all he wants, but she will always know.
Eichi
He couldn’t believe what he just heard. She never got complimented before? What kind of idiots were surrounding her? Eichi couldn’t believe it! But there were some people who were just blind when a beautiful girl was next to them. He would have shook his head in disbelief but he restrained himself. Instead, he smiled at her. “Then I will do it more often.” Of course he met many people, it was normal for an idol but he had not much to none interest in any of them. As an idol he only wanted to please the audience, make them smile and forget their sorrows for a while. That was his job and what he wanted to do, even when he had used the wrong methods for this in the past.
His light blue eyes were locked on their hands, his smile being a little bigger than before. For him, this kind of affection was rare but he liked it a lot. The warmth he felt made his heart beat faster. It was a warmth that he had never felt like this before and he thought if they were to let go of each other he would miss this feeling immediately. “That sounds very pleasing. I can’t wait to go on adventures with you.” Eichi was genuinely looking forward to all the things they wanted to do. Without Kirara he would never go on such adventures, the others wouldn’t take him there, they were more worried about his health than about him being bored to death.
What she knew about Eichi was his nice, usual character. However, he also had a darker side, one that would only come out when he had to play his unfair games again. Yet, he tried his best remain nice, he had already done too much in the past. It was time to live with the consequences of his games. He chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. “This one time it was a blessing to have a poor health. I am happy that you came into my life. It’s more lively with you.”
Huh? Do it more often? Is he being serious? Her cheeks burns. He's not teasing her right? Knowing Eichi, he wouldn't tease her , but... why is he telling her this?
She's not even worthy to be praised!
"S-Stop teasing me...."
She turns more and more embarrassed. It's embarrassing enough for him complimenting her 'beauty' before. Now this? Is he trying to give her a heart attack?
A cough.
She needed to stay calm and keeps that energetic , hyper facade. The thing is, she hasn't able to act well in front of him ever since she realizes that she might have loved Eichi romantically.
This is bad!
"Me too!" She nodded, her cheeks flushed. " i'm glad that you're interested! "
And with that, she loosen her grip a little bit. She is afraid that her tight grip would hurt him.
Listening to his thankful words, Kirara widened her eyes. He's happy ?
"I'm the one who should be thankful!" She denies his statement. " Thank you for accepting me! " And being her friend.
She doesn't act much when she's with Eichi. It surprises her , but it's the truth. She wonders if it's because she likes him, or is it because of something else?
But one thing for sure, she is able to open her heart towards him. Even if it's small.
Kirara then takes a look of their hands, linking together. This really looks like a date, no matter how much you look at it.
she squeezes his hand once again. Oh she hopes that she didn't squeeze it too tight!
"......."
Though this time she has squeezed his hand gentler than before. Looking at Eichi's face made her cheeks burn again. The more she sees his face, the more she wants to kiss him.
Kirara immediately looks down to avoid contact to his face.
