The sun was shining though the weather was still pretty cold. He had given a thousand shots already in a thousand kids since the flu was getting place due to the season. He was already in a horrible mood due to all crying he heard during the morning, so when he reached the lunch time, he couldn't be any happier. Henry made sure to leave the hospital and eat out, he needed a break, he deserved it.
So the doctor fixed his long black coat and smiled when the sun rays touched his pale skin. The day was beautiful, indeed. Henry kept his pace down the road to the restaurant he knew the food was good and not a disgusting korean food. He hated korean food the most, it was gross and strange, but he would keep smiling and telling it's delicious to keep his little brother happy. He was lucky to find a restaurant so near his job that would sell real food.
He stopped by the traffic light, his hands on his pockets, the restaurant so close to him his stomach would be tumbling in happiness. The red light was on, but he first made sure all vehicles were stopping. The girl by his side didn't make it, with pink headphones and eyes glued only on the shiny red ligh, the girl walked to cross the road. All cars stopped but one.
Henry didn't think to much, he went after her the faster he could, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her light body to knock against his, turning just to make sure she was safe, the vehicle passing by so close he lost his balance for a second, but still let the girl safe.
"Haven't you heard you need to look to both sides before crossing a road when you were little?" He asked in a harsh tone as he pulled her body apart. "The hospital is crowded enough, kid."
