I am very, so very sorry, that I made you upset.” She tried her best to apologize to her friend, sat down beside her, “I didn’t realize that you would worry so much like that. I didn’t even realize how exhausted I was after that call. What can I do for your forgiveness, Jungah?”

Was she kidding? But then again, she had mentioned before that she worked hard to maintain that unmatched beauty of hers. She must be asking him in particular, implying that no one else mattered. Absorbing that possible fact made Dongsun’s heart jump a little in his chest. On a normal day, he would have questioned why she would ask him of all people, but lately, he knew why. And the answer to why still made him feel happiness beyond comprehension.

Thus, as a response to her small question, he gave a small nod with a sincere smile gracing his lips. And he thought things ended there-- But she had to make it a point that he was the reason behind the smiles that often ended up making him feel things he never knew he could ever feel again.

“I’m given another job? When my hands are already so full in a job that I’ve been doing for over a decade? Yah...” he feigned frustration in his voice, showcasing his mildly playful side. “I should be getting some good compensation for that. My services aren’t cheap.”

olive has, what you can say, a stick up her ass. she’s an amazing surgeon --------- genius like, really, but it’s incredibly rare for her to be able to loosen up. she does care about her patient, but for her to show it --------- that’s a hard feat. so, anyone who’s the opposite of olive st. bride is difficult for her to get along with. ❛ you don’t really care about your life, do you ? ❜ she scoffs. ❛ all you want to do is have fun ? ❜

sangmin rolled over on the bed that he was laying on, a small groan falling from his lips before he looked up at the other. he closed his laptop quickly and then pushed it away from his body before pouting a little. “i’m sick of editing. can we do something else?” he asked, almost begging the other to distract him from his latest documentary that he was making. he wasn’t worried about the deadline for it, he knew that he had a while and quite honestly he got a lot done for it over the last couple of days. right now he just wanted to think about something else and have a break.
