Hendrix SnapShots: Ridin' Dirty With Science
Hendrix science students and faculty developed Ridin' Dirty with Science, an interactive science outreach program, to help local students understand science and see how fun it can be. The program began with the support of the Hendrix Odyssey program and is now underwritten by a National Science Foundation grant to support the training of future science teachers.

Hendrix SnapShots: Belize Biology Odyssey
This summer, 18 Hendrix students traveled to Belize, where they saw ecology in action. The students were enrolled in Dr. Jenn Dearolf's marine biology course. In addition to their hands-on research, students got a glimpse of history by exploring Mayan culture sites.

Hendrix SnapShots: Summer Researchers
Several Hendrix students conducted on-campus research this summer. Working closely with faculty from seven departments, students were exposed to scientific thinking and experiment design as they worked on everything from sleep research to snake venom analysis.

Hendrix SnapShots: Tommy Sanders '76
Hendrix alumnus Tommy Sanders '76 has worked in broadcasting for nearly 40 years. Sanders, the host of ESPN Outdoors and other national outdoor television programs, saw his first play at Hendrix. He quickly became a theatre major and got involved in every theatre production when he was a Hendrix student. Sanders shares his story in this episode of Hendrix SnapShots.
