Oh my goodness! HennaCon is right around the corner!!! Iโm nervous, excited, and so many things in between. Last year I went to HennaCon with my Henna Buddy Alexandria. When she first hit me up to go I was hesitant. And to be honest, at the time I was contemplating quitting henna. ๐ ๐ After my mom passed away everything changed, including my creativity and drive to keep moving forward. My mom was my biggest helper and supporter, I never needed anybody else. So when I lost her to stage 4 cervical cancer in December of 2016, I really felt like I couldnโt do anything let alone keep running Beleza Artistica. But even though I felt so uninspired, I kept pushing myself forward despite my tears and fears. It was a rough 2 years. ๐ฐ ๐ฐ So last year when September rolled around, I was preparing myself mentally for winter. I was feeling so low on mental and emotional strength. And almost out of the blue, there came a message for Alexandria asking me if I wanted to go to HennaCon 2018. I was like,โThat be awesome, but I donโt know if Iโll be able to go, lolโ. But I talked it over with the hubs and he thought it would be good if I went. I juggle with the idea of going for a bit and then said to myself,โ I started Beleza Artistica by saying โYesโ even when anxiety told me โNOโ. So I responded with say that I was ready to go, even though my confidence level low. ๐ถ๐ฝโโ๏ธ ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ Now here we are a whole year later and not only Am I going to HennaCon 2019 (InshaAllah) Iโm bringing 2, new to henna, hopefuls with me! InshaAllah we will learn, network and enjoy henna with henna addicts from around the world! Canโt wait ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐โค๏ธ ๐ ๐ #hennacon #letsgo #california #thousandoaks #henna #jagua #denverhennaartist #belezaartistica https://www.instagram.com/p/B3cNuFDBrAO/?igshid=cnfii130i27s
