Ajax had to admit, he did really love nature walks. Plus it was nice to give Koda time where she didn’t have to be service dog and just got to be a dog. He liked watching her spend five minutes sniffing every tree and chasing the shadows of leaves. She really was the best thing that Hogwarts had ever given him. Well, one of the best things.
He hadn’t expected anyone else to be using these woods, too. No one had ever been here in the past. He hadn’t even taken his siblings or Izzy here. So when he saw the shape of a person through the trees, Ajax had to double check that he hadn’t accidentally picked anything up, that he wasn’t Seeing but just seeing.
“Hey!” He called out, tilting his head to try and get a better look. “Hey, are you there?”
