even without Leila, I don't believe the Ivonne x Iklies Happy Ending in the og timeline lasted long. Considering how hostile the knights of the duchy acted towards Iklies in vadd and how they used him as a punching bag whenever they felt frustrated, they would have never accepted a freed slave as their master. Iklies would have been found hanged in the stables within two months after the wedding and Ivonne would have been married to a handsome lord of her own station after the shortest period of mourning that is socially accepted in Eorka.
