I think when Lachlan goes on holiday he tells Rebecca he’ll arrange for her to leave the country when he gets back and leaves her with the bottle of water expecting her to be poisoned and dead by the time he comes home. The spoilers for next week say she knocks over the bottle of water Lachlan left for her and is using a rock to try to break the chain to get free. I think when she knocks over the water she’ll see the white powder in it and know he wasn’t going to let her go free, so she starts her plan to escape.

Well, one of his neighbors. Her boyfriend was not someone he liked well, there was just something about him, the way that Rose would flinch when he walked past.
