Poorly Drawn October day 4: clothing with lots of layers
I was originally imagining jūnihitoe, which is a style of formal dress for court women in the Heian period of Japan. Its name means "twelve layers" although the actual style of dress itself varied in the numbers of layers worn.
But when I sat down to actually think about and draw that my brain went "what the fuck do you think this is, mate, try again" sooooo instead I did a much more normal but definitely stylized version of a woman wearing a kimono. I tried making it look kinda like a woodcut, and it kinda worked.
