I finally got started on drawing this, even though I’m going to toddle off and clean up now.

Also it figures it’s the end of the tournament and I finally sort out my preferred way to draw Occam. RIFP.

It’s time for my horned frog fish axolotl lady to fight a purple bunny man as they both try to not fall in lava and knowing that the loser will be consumed by an eldritch metal god creature.

I love tournaments, this is my second finale and likely my last round before I retire from competing (if not judging) and it’s gonna be a hell of a ride.

Fairly quick cover! This time I’m actually fighting a dude on Intense Desert Planet. Not such a wonderful world for an amphibious alien. 

Someone has to dig up life in the sand, though.

what am I going to name my new tournament rounds, I ask myself? I’ve done songs and warriors-style names (not like. actual cat names. but titles like Stonewing, Steelflower, etc.) 

why I go as pretentious as I can and combine astronomy terms with greek gods of course! Or the Hellenic pantheon if I wanted to be super pretentious. 

so that’s how I wound up with Aphelion Nyx for my first round title. (If you want to lecture me on how Nyx is a primordial force and not a god, I know, don’t come after me with a hammer. Also it technically varies according to whose canon you’re going with, but I think I’ve already revealed too much of myself as an enormous nerd so I’ll stop). 

I don’t know what I’ll retroactively title my audition. Hemeric Meridian, perhaps.
