“I can go a few more hours, don’t worry..” Wind Archer put down his cup of coffee, probably his fifth one today as he put on his quiver. For some reason work had gotten a lot busier for him, fallen souls had been producing much more quicker than usual, so the forest needed extra protection until they went down. “These fallen souls will impact dreams if they get too close to other cookies..so I need to take out as many as possible...”

He saw..them..again. The raven. He jolted up with a scream, glistening tears running down his face from the fear of his own dreams. Ever since Whip had suddenly turned to the dark side the nightmares became more frequent, it was harder to sleep, and the moon seemed..oddly crimson, but maybe it was just him.It was almost 7 am by the time he had managed to get out of bed and wash his face from the breakdown, but he didn’t feel fully better, he needed somewhere to go to. Getting dressed in a more casual outfit and putting some foundation almost identical to his skin color on his face to hide the bags under his eyes he walked through the forest and into the city. 

He knew Herb’s cafe wouldn’t be open for a little while longer, hopefully he could talk to him before others arrived.

Wind Archer wasn’t expecting much that night. Though he had planned this peaceful walk with Herb a while back there was a lot of surprises. A night planned for stargazing had suddenly become a rainy event, soaking them both head to toe quite quickly. Though Wind would have normally been grumpy about this the way Herb laughed made his heart pound faster every waking moment and the more he felt like this was some sort of dream, especially when Herb kissed him.It was the last thing he expected at that moment, but that’s what made it even better. Even if it was raining everything just felt so right at that moment. If it were to disappear a second later it would be pretty upsetting, so it might be best to make it last longer. The thought went through his head as he let out a small chuckle through the kiss and pulled Herb in a bit closer.
