Teddy’s love life has been the talk of the school for quite some time. And while the talk had been simmering down since he and his throuple had broken up, The Circle was still keenly interested. That’s why, when Teddy made his way into the dancer’s dressing room, there was a very public display of the people he had been involved with. Pictures of each one covering individual lockers, all surrounding his own: Kenzie, Lennon, Ceci, Alek, Caleb. On his locker, a message, written in black permanent marker: “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. We think one has got to go.”
Teddy walked into the dressing room after a particularly long dance routine. He was exhausted to say the least. He’d been training as hard as he possibly could- channeling all of his life’s drama into the only productive thing he knew which was dance. He’d been up for nearly three nights straight when he finally felt himself crashing. He tiredly looked up before needing to double take. There were all the faces of everyone he’s ever felt romantically drawn to. Staring through him it’d seem. He looked at the black permanent marker on his locker and lightly gasped. “Fuck me.” He groaned. He plucked off each of the pictures and stared at each of them individually. He tossed aside Alek, Ceci and Lennon. He sat looking between the pictures of his two exs. He knew if he was going to cut anybody off it’d make the most sense to be one of them. It had to be one of them. Which though… He thought back to his last interactions with each of them. A high off his rocker Caleb who he immediately felt obligated to take care of. Then there was Kenzie, she’d broken into his bedroom just for the sake of confronting him. Or the time she was in the hospital, or the time she went missing on the ski trip. It seemed wherever Kenzie was drama followed…which unfortunately made his choice too easy. He looked around the change room as if he was looking for cameras of the people who were obviously keeping close tabs on him. He tossed Caleb’s picture down into the pile of the other students and held up the picture of Kenzie. “Happy? I picked!” He yelled out as he ripped up her picture tossing it onto the ground. He knew that this meant he needed to avoid Kenzie at all cost now.
