Aspen n jack :B
send me a ship!!!!
who wears the ugly christmas sweaters
jack!!! and then he'd use his puppy eyes to get aspen to wear one so they're matching, even if aspen won't wear it out of the house
who picks out the holiday movies and who makes the hot cocoa
jack would pick the movies and aspen would do the cocoa bc he'd warm it up faster bc of his powers and they'd end up falling asleep on the couch together bye
who starts the snowball fight
jack and he'd make sure to get aspen frustrated bc then the snow would just melt in his hands and jack would win!!!
who drags the other under the mistletoe
either or bc they both like having excuses to kiss each other
who decorates the house
jack!!! but he'd make aspen help even tho he doesnt really do christmas and jack would pepper him with kisses for helping!!!
who hangs up the ornaments on the tree
jack would have aspen do at least one ornament so he can snap a picture of him doing it when he's not looking and then he'd probably frame it but jack would probably end up doing the rest (but he'd also make aspen do the star)
who cooks christmas dinner
neither bc jack cant cook and aspen doesn't celebrate so they'd prolly just get take out tbh
who invites the other to sing a christmas duet
jack would probably try make aspen sing w him rly loudly and dumb but aspen would be sitting there looking like he was crazy tbh
if they have any holiday traditions
nah maybe one day but nah
who would start a food fight during baking
whoever gets bored first tbh so probably aspen
who would get drunk off of eggnog
both lbr here
Dearly departed~
Send me "Dearly Departed" to hear the speech my character would give at your character's funeral after their sudden passing.
This didn't feel right.
It didn't feel right that she was standing there, in front of what appeared to be...most of the JGS, with a few people from other places, such as the Avengers Academy there, too.
Shanta and Oliver hadn't made an appearance yet, and no one knew where they were. Some people were complaining about it, claiming it was disrespectful, but Winnie knew better. They needed their own time to grieve. Somewhere they could do it without all the looks. All the pity.
It didn't feel right for her to go up in front of everyone there, most of who she barely knew, and talk about Jackson as though she were family. Everyone kept saying 'he'd like this' or 'he'd want this' but the truth was that no one actually knew any of that. It was all just assumptions. What if he didn't want this? What if he didn't want her to say a word? What if he didn't want a funeral at all?
What if he could see how badly her hands were shaking as she stood up and made her way to the podium? What if he could see how the paper was wrinkled from ow she'd been nervously playing with it the entire time, worrying that she was going to say the wrong thing?
"Jackson was...without a doubt, like a big brother to me. And...and I loved him like one. He was...one of the funniest people I know...knew. A-and he...he was brave. So...so brave. He...proved he would do...anything for his teammates. The closest thing he had to a real family." she paused, trying to keep herself composed. She hated funerals. Hated them.
"Jack was...the best when it came to Christmas decorations. Even helped me get a tree t-through the subway once. Now that's something, isn't it? He...he told the story better, though..."
